Governor Attacked With Muffin & Ice Cubes

More fall out from the governors Chico visit has hit the media. It seems that the folks outside the Cozy Dinner weren't satisfied with yelling at the governator and flying projectiles insued.

Two incidents are being investigated by his California Highway Patrol security detail. One was the flying muffin and the other a cup of ice cubes.

As Schwarzenegger was leaving the Cozy Diner restaurant on Mangrove Avenue about 9:30 a.m., someone in a large crowd outside a rear entrance tossed a cup of mini ice cubes in his direction.

Some of the cubes appeared to land on the governor, witnesses said, but he didn't react. Seconds before or after the cubes were tossed, a young woman allegedly crushed a muffin in her hand and threw it toward Schwarzenegger.

It isn't know if any of the muffin pieces reached their target.

Attacks of this type involving Schwarzenegger are rare, and are taken seriously, said an official with Schwarzenegger's CHP Protective Detail.

Makes me glad I didn't have any rotten eggs! I'm a bad shot anyway. Oh, and as if you didn't know, all the props the gov was pushing failed.
