Pittsburg Police Officer Dies...
It wasn't until I read the details that I realized this officer was a guy I went to high school, middle school, and elementry school with. He even used to live right up the street from me off Spring Lakes Dr. This is truely a sad day and even more so because his wife is 7 months pregnant. Larry Lasater RIP!

Someone posted a reflection on the odmp.org web site today that referenced that you had a picture of Larry posted, I read your comments and wantto thank you for the. I never want Larry or his supreme sacrifice to be forgotten.
All of Larry's family misses him so much, and our lives are forever altered without him.

I'm very sorry for your loss and can't begin to imagine what it might be like to lose a son.
I had not seen nor heard from Larry probably since high school and it was a terribly sad way to find out what he had been doing with himself since I saw him last.
I hope this message finds his wife and their child, as well as you and your family, doing well.
Larry is not here with us in person, but surely in spirit! And I'm sure his principles and ideals will live on though our remembrance.
